Trips & Days Out

Here at People to Places, getting out and socialising, interacting and being part of a group is very important to us.

We provide a trips and days out programme for residents of the Royal Borough. We cover a variety of locations from the seaside to a local pub lunch.

Our programme runs regularly throughout the year so there is something for everyone.

If you need a little extra help getting out and about, People to Places is here for you.

What you pay for

Firstly, you will need to be a member of our Trips and Days Out service. Once you become a member you will have access to our trips programme and will be able to request to book onto our trips.

The cost for the trips and days out will vary depending on the location but will cover all of your transport costs to and from the organised location and parking.

You will see a list of prices for each of the trips and days out in our latest Trips programme, along with all of the scheduled dates.

Additional charges

The cost covers transport and parking only (unless stated otherwise).

Additional mobility equipment, refreshments and entry fees are excluded and are the responsibility of the passenger. Charges apply to all people travelling, including carers.

We will always give an approximate entry price where applicable, which will be correct at the date of publishing, but may be subject to change by the venue.

Bookings and arrangements

Places on Trips are limited and the number of spaces available is  dependent on passenger needs and requirements. We aim to make our trips accessible to as many members as possible. We will confirm your booking a month before the trip and a reserve list will be available for our most popular trips.

On most occasions, drivers are not able to chaperone individuals at venues, therefore wheelchair users must travel with a chaperone. In some cases it may be possible for People to Places to provide a chaperone, please call the People to Places office if this would help you and we can discuss this further.

Pick-up times will be advised approximately 3 days before the trip.
