Supporting People to Places
Our Supporters
People to Places is proud to be supported by a growing network of individuals, businesses, and organisations that have helped us fund essential assets and projects across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Their support has been vital in enabling us to continue delivering accessible transport services that promote independence and reduce isolation.
We are incredibly grateful for this ongoing support and always welcome new partners who wish to contribute to their local community through our work.
Becoming a Sponsor
Our sponsors play a key role in helping us maintain and expand our services. Whether you’re a large corporate organisation or a small local business, becoming a sponsor means making a real difference in the lives of people who rely on us. We are always open to new partnerships and actively encourage collaboration with those who share our commitment to supporting the community.
Minibus Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsoring one of our community transport minibuses is a highly visible way to support our work. Your branding appears on the vehicle as it travels throughout the Borough, raising awareness of your business while directly supporting our vital transport services. This continued support also helps us to keep our fleet well-maintained and easily recognisable to those who depend on us. Download our free Minibus Sponsorship Information Pack to learn more.
Other Ways to Support

If you have an idea or would like to explore how you or your organisation could support People to Places, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Meet our supporters
Get to know a little bit more about some of our supporters and how they have helped People to Places become the charity we are today. Some of our supporters have been with us for years and others have newly joined and we are so grateful to all of them.

Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council
The Council has been a huge support for People to Places over the years, and whilst we are an independent charity, they do offer People to Places a huge amount of support.
RBWM has funded many home-to-school journeys over the years and also supports our local community by giving eligible applicants a ‘travel pot’ of money to subsidise the costs for them.
Not only are they a financial supporter but they are also a great friend to People to Places and are always supporting us well in our future plans too.

The Louis Baylis Charitable Trust
The Louis Baylis Charitable Trust distributes grants worth a total of more than £100,000 to more than 100 recipients each year and has a policy of distributing the majority of the grants to local organisations and charities, the balance going to regional and national organisations.
Louis Baylis has been a huge supporter over the years, granting us funds that have enabled us to enhance our services even further and supporting People to Places during the pandemic.

All Waste Berkshire Ltd was our very first minibus sponsor at People to Places. They have played a key role in supporting our new venture and design of minibuses and have been amazing to work with.

Ascot Racecourse
Ascot Racecourse very kindly donated an electric bus in 2025 as part of their ‘Race to Zero’ long-term sustainability strategy.
The bus has been put to good use, taking our members out and about while reducing our environmental impact.
Ascot Racecourse have also supported us by donating towards our running costs and giving us free sponsorship of a race at their Family Raceday.
